The defect
During routine production checks, KTM discovered that the tool for tightening the foot brake levers on the foot rest brackets was not set correctly.

The hazard
If the foot rest bracket comes loose, this may interfere with the operation of the foot brake. This poses a danger to the rider and other road users.
The remedy
Customers of these models should stop riding and check the foot brake lever screw before visiting an authorised dealer for rectification.All customers will be contacted by letter instructing them to visit an authorised KTM dealer for inspection and rectification.
