The defect

The vehicle's sun visor does not have the required labelling advising consumers not to install rearward-facing child restraints in the front seat of the vehicle, and the owner's manual is missing the reference to this sun visor label.The vehicle does not comply with the Australian Design Rule 'Vehicle Standard (ADR 73/00 - Offset Frontal Impact Occupant Protection) 2005'.

The hazard

Due to insufficient labelling, consumers may install a rearward-facing child restraint in their front seat, posing a risk of injury to the child in the event of an accident.

The remedy

Automobili Lamborghini SpA will notify all owners of affected vehicles and will instruct them to arrange an appointment with an authorised Lamborghini dealer for replacement of the sun visor and owner manual, free of charge.For further information, consumers should contact Automobili Lamborghini SpA via email on customercare@lamborghini.com
