The hazard
Corrosion on the surface of the fuel tank may allow fuel vapour or liquid to leak from the fuel tank, which could increase the risk of a fire. A fire poses a risk of injury to vehicle occupants, bystanders and/or damage to property.
The remedy
Consumers will be contacted to arrange an appointment with their McLaren dealer for the NVH foam pad to be removed and inspection of the fuel tank, free of charge. To find your nearest McLaren retailer, go to http://www.retailers.mclaren.comFor more information, consumers can contact McLaren Automotive Limited via email client.services@mclaren.com
