The defect

The air conditioner housing may have collided with the airbag control unit during assembly, therefore the airbag control unit may be damaged.

The hazard

This may lead to an impairment of the functioning of the control unit and an inadvertent activation of the airbags cannot be excluded. This could increase the risk of injury for the occupants as well as the risk of an accident.
