Verify before you act. Recall details and remedies can change. Our database is updated regularly but may not reflect the most recent revisions. Always confirm with vehiclerecalls.gov.au or your vehicle manufacturer before acting on the information below. Read our full disclaimer.

The defect

On affected Euro 5 Canter trucks the injector fuel return hose may swell and disconnect if exposed to chemicals from paint, shampoo or grease. These chemicals may be used during rear body building or washing.

The hazard

If customers continue to use the vehicle while the hoses are in this condition the hose will come adrift from the connector. This may cause a fuel leak, posing a fire hazard.

The remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted directly. Owners are requested to contact an authorised FUSO dealership to arrange for a replacement injector fuel return hose to be fitted.
