The defect
Under certain environmental conditions the PowerNet Distribution Box (PNDB) module can go into auto-reset mode.

The hazard
Affected vehicles may unexpectedly lose power in the cab, chassis and engine, causing potential engine shutdown and temporary loss of all lighting and cab electronics, increasing the risk of an accident for the occupants and other road users.
The remedy
Owners should call 1300 323 722 to make a booking with any Authorised Daimler Truck & Bus, Freightliner Dealership to have a new PNDB without the auto-reset software installed free of charge.
