The defect

The outer section of the front grille air deflectors could detach partially or entirely from the inner section of vehicle. Clips could slowly detach due to the wind loads and additional stresses that arise during operation.

The hazard

If the clips of the front grille air deflectors break, the outer section may completely detach from the vehicle increasing the risk of injury or an accident to other road users.

The remedy
