The defect

The condensation drain hose of the air conditioning system may not have been correctly installed.

The hazard

Condensation may leak into the vehicle interior and cause malfunctions in different electrical components. The following may occur:. the airbag control unit may fail. it may not be possible to start the vehicle. engine limp-home mode may be activated during vehicle operation. the fuel pump may not work correctly. the emergency call system may be impaired.These events would increase the risk of an accident that may result in injury or death of vehicle occupants and other road users.
