Verify before you act. Recall details and remedies can change. Our database is updated regularly but may not reflect the most recent revisions. Always confirm with vehiclerecalls.gov.au or your vehicle manufacturer before acting on the information below. Read our full disclaimer.

The defect

Due to insufficient clamping force, the automatic transmission fluid (ATF) hoses fitted to the Duonic transmissions of affected vehicles may separate at the clamps to the steel pipes to which they’re connected. The possibility of this occurring is greater in cold weather. As a consequence, an ATF hose could detach, allowing the leakage of transmission fluid.

The hazard

If this occurs, there is the possibility that the transmission will not operate causing the vehicle to become undriveable. This could cause a hazard to other road users.

The remedy

A letter will be sent to the owners of affected vehicles
