The defect

On affected vehicles, when the Hill Start Assist function is switched-on, the warning buzzer will not operate and warn the driver if the key is removed from the ignition switch.

If the defect occurs, there is a possibility an affected vehicle may move unintentionally if left unattended and cause damage or injury

The remedy

A letter will be sent to owners of affected vehicles
