The defect

Inappropriate installation and operation of the power seat harness in the driver’s power seat.

The hazard

Damage to the harness may occur and this can result in loss of operation of the driver's power seat. In extreme circumstances, unexpected self-operation of the driver's power seat base may occur and could contribute to an accident.

The remedy

Owner notification letters will be sent to all owners of these vehicles at their last known address.Owners of affected vehicles will be advised to contact a Nissan Dealer to arrange for an inspection & where necessary the rectification of their vehicle.For further information contact Nissan Motor Co.
