The defect

The rear backrest mounting hardware kit(s) may have included four 110mm long mounting bolts, instead of two 75mm and two 95mm bolts.

The hazard

The mounting bolts may come into contact with the rear tyre causing damage and possible loss of pressure and control. This poses a potential accident hazard to the rider and other road users.

The remedy

Present the machine to the nearest Authorised Suzuki dealer, with proof of purchase of the accessories where possible.
