The defect

The bolts of the front row seatbelt may not have been tightened sufficiently. In the event of an accident, if the seatbelt is not secured correctly it may not operate when required.

This could increase the risk of injury or, in the case of a serious accident, increase the risk of death to vehicle occupants.

The remedy

Owners of affected vehicle will be contact to schedule a service appointment free of charge.
