The defect

The steering column may not be securely connected to the steering gear and may become detached.

The hazard

If the steering column becomes detached it will increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

The remedy

Owners of affected vehicles should contact their preferred Official Porsche Centre to have the necessary works carried out and completed free of charge.Note: All affected vehicles of this recall have been rectified.
