The defect

During the fitting of the tow ball, the securing nut may have had insufficient torque applied. This could cause the securing nut to come loose. In the worst case, the tow ball could detach and cause an accident.

The hazard

If the tow ball detaches from the draw bar while the vehicle is in motion, it could cause a serious accident.

The remedy

A letter is being sent to affected customer.Return the vehicle to your local Isuzu dealer to have the correct torque applied to the tow ball securing nut.For further information, contact your local Isuzu dealer.
