The defect

There is a possibility that the oil level in the rear differential is not within specification.

The hazard

Due to lack of oil, the rear differential may produce an abnormal noise. If the vehicle is continually driven in this condition, it may increase the risk of sudden failure of the differential gears and/or the bearings inside the rear differential assembly, possibly resulting in an accident.

The remedy

Suzuki Australia will contact affected consumers via mail. Consumers will be directed to contact their Suzuki dealership.
