The defect

The routing of the power supply cable, from the battery to the starter motor solenoid, may not conform to the design requirements.

The hazard

The battery positive cable may come into contact with other cable harnesses, or components installed in the area of the starter motor, which may lead to chafing of the components.

The remedy

Return the vehicle to an authorised IVECO Dealership for inspection.
