The defect

Some vehicles may experience a failure in the Fuel Pump relay within the Totally Integrated Power Module – 7 (“TIPM-7”), an electronic control unit, which can result in a no start or stall condition.

The hazard

If the defect occurs, this may pose an accident hazard to the driver and other road users.

The remedy

FCA Australia will notify vehicle owners who can take their vehicle to a Jeep dealership whereby the vehicle will be repaired. For further information regarding the recall customer can call 1300 133 079.
