The defect

In some instances, there is a risk that one or several fixing nuts may be missing from the individual rear passenger seat.

The hazard

If the fixing nuts are missing, the seat will not be secured and may not provide adequate protection in the event of an accident, increasing the risk of injury to the seat occupant.

The remedy

Volkswagen will contact owners of affected vehicles about how to arrange an inspection and repair.Customers who would like further information can contact the Skoda Recall Campaign Hotline on 1800 504 076 (Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 8pm AEST).
