The hazard
If the front central passenger buckle unclips, the seat belt would not secure the passenger in the event of sudden braking or an accident, and there is a risk of serious injury.
The remedy
Citroen Australia will contact all known owners by mail and advise them to present their vehicle to their preferred Authorised Citroen dealer, to have the size of the central buckle modified with shrinkable tubing and a foam pad.For further information consumers can contact Citroen Australia on 1800 898 058 or find their local dealer by visiting https://www.citroen.com.au/find-a-dealer/
