The defect

The electrical connection for the airbag crash sensor may not be secured correctly. This connector may detach due to vibrations whilst driving.

The hazard

If the crash sensor connection became detached, the effectiveness of the occupant restraint systems may be reduced, delayed or not deploy if involved in a front-end collision increasing the risk of serious injury or death.
