The defect
Due to a manufacturing issue, the wiring harnesses of the front wheel speed sensors may be damaged and the Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) system may be deactivated. This could result in a loss of vehicle control.Warning lights will illuminate in the instrument cluster indicating to the driver that the VDC is not activated.
The hazard
A loss of vehicle control will increase the risk of an accident, causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.
The remedy
