The defect

Due to improper assembly during production, the left door latching mechanism may have been incorrectly positioned and could become loose over time. As a result the left door may not be able to be opened using the external handles.

The hazard

If the door cannot be opened using the external handle, first responders may not be able to assist vehicle occupants in an emergency. This may increase the risk of injury or death.

The remedy

Owners of affected vehicle can contact their authorised Lamborghini dealer for the safety clip positioning and correct it if necessary, free of charge.
