The defect
The seat(s) on the specified models may have been manufactured with a seat fastener that was not tightened to the proper torque specification.

The hazard
A loose seat fastener could increase the risk of injury to seat occupants during a crash.
The remedy
FCA Australia will notify vehicle owners who can take their vehicle to an authorised Jeep dealer. The dealer will inspect the seat fastener torque.
