The defect

During production a machining error on the clutch drum has led to the possiblity that a snap ring could displace. This may lead to transmission clutch slippage and result in the vehicle losing all drive.

The hazard

If the defect occurs, this may pose a hazard to the vehicle occupants and other road users.

The remedy

A letter will be sent to owners of affected vehicles.
