The defect

During production there may have been insufficient torque settings applied to the bolts fixing the ring gear for the differential.

The hazard

The bolts may become loose or detach and cause damage to the differential. This would cause the vehicle to be undriveable, posing a safety risk for the vehicle occupants.

The remedy

Consumers will be contacted by direct mail. Consumers should contact their nearest authorised FUSO dealership to arrange for an inspection and repair of the vehicle.
