The defect

Affected vehicles have inadvertently been built without the airbag label on the passenger side sun visor. On affected vehicles there is no visible airbag label when the sun visor is folded down.

The hazard

The occupant will not see an airbag warning label when the passenger side sun visor is lowered and be unaware of its presence.

The remedy

Owners should contact their nearest Volvo dealer and make a booking to have the sun visor mirror lid on the passenger’s side only replaced.
