The defect

Due to a manufacturing issue, the cell modules installed in the high voltage battery may overheat at high charge levels. If this occurs, it could lead to a vehicle fire.Note: Keep the battery charge level below 70% which can be set in the Charging setting menu on the vehicle display.

A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and bystanders, and/or damage to property.
