The defect

The lubrication in the power steering drive bearing may be insufficient.

The hazard

If the defect occurs, the bearings could seize and cause damage to the power steering drive gear. In the worst case, this may cause the engine to fail, which may pose a hazard to the vehicle occupants and other road users.

The remedy

A letter is being sent to affected customers.Return the vehicle to your local Isuzu dealer to have the fuel pump/power steering pump bearing case assembly replaced.For further information, contact your local Isuzu dealer.
