The defect

The guide's microphone on the affected vehicles has been installed in the deployment area of the passenger airbag.

The hazard

If the front passenger airbag were to be activated, it might come into contact with the guide's microphone and could prevent the airbag from unfolding properly. This could result in occupants being more seriously injured.

The remedy
