The defect

Due to a manufacturing issue, the roller tonneau front cover screws may become loose and fall out. If this occurs the tonneau front cover may detach from the vehicle while driving.

The hazard

If the roller tonneau front cover detaches from the vehicle while driving, it will increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to other road users or/and bystanders.

The remedy

Isuzu UTE Australia will contact affected owners in writing, requesting they make an appointment at their nearest Isuzu Ute dealer for inspection and rectification free of charge.
