The defect

It is possible that if an affected truck is driven at high speed for an extended period, a crack may develop in the propeller shaft centre bearing bracket/s. In such cases there is the remote possibility the bracket/s could fracture, causing the propeller shaft assembly to drop and resulting in sudden loss of drive. This is due to the bracket/s having insufficient strength if a vehicle is operated at high-speed.
